Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton, and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. While still a small kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to further her acting career. After that, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in 2009. They were married at a civil wedding ceremony in was held in December, and then they renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 following Anna's conversion to Judaism.
